Introducing A Herd of Bison
Houston, Texas, home to one of our very own Social Status boutiques, has a local luxury streetwear line that lives among the city. A Herd of Bison founder Kareem Day gained his love for designing early on when he began sketching at 4 years old. As he grew, so did his passion.
Day grew up to eventually customize sneakers as a kid, which developed into apparel as an adult. Taking his passion for fashion and combining it with his understanding of logistics with an engineering technology degree from Texas Southern University, A Herd of Bison was born in 2018. The inspiration behind the line was “a product of all my past failures.” A herd meaning logistically sound, while Bisons are a powerful animal that represents strength. These ideologies are highlighted throughout each piece of every collection.
The mixture of cut and sew pieces cultivates timeless clothing that can truly live among wardrobes for many years. The brand chooses not to thrive off of trends but off of meaning.
