"Free Fall" with Honor the Gift
Introduced in late 2017 by Russell Westbrook, Honor the Gift has made its own lane in the streetwear industry.
The latest collection “Free Fall” was inspired by the Tuskegee Airmen, a group of Black U.S. Air Force pilots and airmen who fought in World War II. The collection features pieces that reference the military, such as cargo pants, nose art, as well the use of army green and orange as the main color palettes.
Taking inspirations from Westbrook's childhood, Honor the Gift channels urban and private school styles to create their image. With a goal of making clothes that are affordable and last, Russell Westbrook uses Honor the Gift to produce more collections that people like and connects to the youth and the city.
