For this 7/04, I felt it only right to post some of the best local talent of the (704). Charlotte crew ForeverFC has just released their collective contribution to the advancement of music (aka their compilation mixtape). Featuring members Schyler Chaise, Jimmy Kelso, Ry, and Lute, this mixtape delivers a nostalgic vibe of hip hops younger, rawer times, while also adding in some conceptual elements that go far beyond the normal boundaries of mainstream rap music. I’ve always had a knack for calling upcoming kings out from a crowd of peasants, and with one listen to this tape, I’m sure you will too. These guy’s have the raw talent, creativity, and diversity to shine with the Ye’s and Jay’s on any billboard top. What makes it even more amazing is seeing this talent grow in our own backyard. My advice to you is get up on it now! because it looks like Crown Town’s musical throne has a little less space with these guys around.
